Our Team

Atty. Palafox was born in Dagupan City, Pangasinan, Philippines on 29 November 1970. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of the Philippines in Baguio and earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines in Diliman in 1998 while working as a Congressional staff at the same time. He was admitted to the Bar in 1999. He was previously an Associate at the ACCRA Law Offices, a Supervising Legislative Officer II at the House of Representatives, and the Head Executive Assistant of the Department of Agrarian Reform. He is a consultant of various congressional representatives and is currently teaching law at the U.P. College of law. His practice areas are Litigation, Election Law, Real Estate and Land titling, Agrarian Law, and Labor Law.

Currently, Atty. Palafox is also a Senior Lecturer/Faculty member in the College of Law of the University of the Philippines.

Luigi is a Junior Partner at the Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), having joined the firm in October 2022.

He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in April 2022.

Luigi received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of the Philippines – Diliman in 2020. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Major in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines – Diliman in 2015.

He is a member of the RSM Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Laurence is a Junior Partner at the Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), having joined the firm in January 2018.

He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in June 2018.

Laurence received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Santo Tomas in 2017. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Major in Social Sciences and Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Social Studies from the University of Santo Tomas in 2011.

Laurence taught Araling Panlipunan (Philippine History) at the UST Angelicum College in Quezon City from 2011 to 2013. He is a member of the RSM Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and affiliated as a volunteer mentor of the Universitas Foundation.

Josh is a Junior Partner at the Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), having joined the firm in May 2020. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in April of the same year.

Josh received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of the Philippines - Diliman in 2020. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the same University in 2015.

He is a member of the RSM Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Migs is a Junior Associate at the Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), who was admitted to the Philippine Bar in December 2023 and joined the firm in the same month.

Migs received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Arellano University School of Law in July 2023 and obtained his Bachelor of Public Administration (B.P.A.) degree from the University of the Philippines – Diliman in 2016.

He has vast experience in project management, customer service, legal and content writing, project and program management, partnership building with educational institutions, local government units, private corporations, budget management, and project monitoring and evaluation.

He has extensive work experience working in different sectors as a professional legal assistant for a California-based law firm handling probate, trusts, estates, and litigation, as a project coordinator for a USAID-funded education program in the Philippines for three years, and as an analyst in the Department of Budget and Management.

He has a civil service eligibility and received formal certificate trainings in project management and organizational and political management. He is also a member of the Laguna Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Irene is a Junior Associate at Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), having joined the firm in July 2019.

She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in May 2023.

Irene received her Bachelor of Laws degree from New Era University in 2011. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2007.

In July 2023, Irene obtained her Diploma in School of Urban Regional Planning (SURP) from University of the Philippines–Diliman. She is currently taking-up Executive Diploma in Real Estate Management at the De La Salle–College of St. Benilde.

Prior to joining the Firm, she worked as a Legal Officer with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) for five (5) years, mainly handling land use conversion cases and resolving agrarian disputes.

She also previously worked in a Triple-A construction company in Quezon City for eight (8) months as a Paralegal under the supervision of the company’s senior lawyer, particularly handling property, civil, and labor cases.

Amanda is a Junior Associate at Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), having joined the firm in January 2023.

She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in November 2022.

Amanda received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from San Beda University in 2020. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies – Major in European Studies from De La Salle University – Manila in 2014.

She passed the Real Estate Broker Licensure Examination in 2015. She is a member of the Rizal (RSM) Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Patricia is a Junior Associate at Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), having joined the firm in August 2022.

She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in May 2022 with exemplary performance.

Patricia received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from San Beda University in 2019. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Major in Economics and Bachelor of Science in Legal Management from De La Salle University- Manila in 2015.

She is a member of Sororitas Reginae Juris (SRJ) and served as the Lady President from 2017 to 2018, spearheading several academic and community service projects during her term. She is a member of the Laguna Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Joie is a Junior Associate at Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), having joined the firm in July 2022.

Joie received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from San Beda University in 2020. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Major in Psychology from San Beda College - Manila in 2015.

Valerie joined MRPP Law in June 2021. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manila (U.M.) in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, she has an extensive work experience with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) for more than two decades. As a Planning Officer, her primary role was to monitor and evaluate the implementation of agrarian reform in the DAR field offices and participated the agency’s in-house researches and policy formulation on how to improve the operationalization of the CARP law and delivery of services to its stakeholders. She also handled agrarian law implementation cases and drafted decisions for the DAR Secretary’s consideration.

She also worked as a Legal Researcher at Burkley and Aquino Law Office primarily handling the firm’s land use conversion, CARP exemption and administrative cases. She also took on a role as Legal Editor at Reed Elsevier Shared Services, Phils. Inc. a back office support of Lexis Nexis, and was part of the Case Law Summaries (CLS) Team, preparing summary of cases decided by the United States Federal District Courts (FDC), State Appellate Courts, Court of Veterans Appeals, among others.


As her pre-law course, Valerie is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of the Philippines at Los Banos (UPLB) and held a Master of Arts (M.A) in Urban and Regional Planning degree from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, in 1991 and 2002 respectively. She mainly handles agrarian reform and labor law cases for the firm.

Nikos is a Junior Associate at Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), having joined the firm in April 2022.

He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in May 2022.

Nikos received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2020. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2016.

She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in May 2022.

Erika received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from San Beda College Alabang in 2020. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies – Major in Japanese Studies from De La Salle University- Manila in 2012.

She also obtained a Certificate in Chinese language from Huaquiao University (Fujian, China) in 2014.

Stephanie is a Junior Associate at Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), having joined the firm in May 2022.

She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in May 2022.

Stephanie received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Far Eastern University in 2021. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Legal Management with a Minor in Literature from Ateneo de Manila University in 2016.

She is a member of the RSM Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Nadja is a Junior Associate at Palafox and Romero Law Firm (MRPP Law Firm), having joined the firm in February 2023.

She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in May 2022.

Nadja obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Arellano University School of Law in 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from University of Batangas in 2013.

She is also a Certified Public Accountant having passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination in October 2013. Prior to joining MRPP Law Firm, she previously worked in the taxation department of Navarro Amper & Co. (Deloitte Philippines) where she gained experience in Philippine tax audit and compliance, transfer pricing documentation, and tax due diligence. Thereafter, she took a role as a tax accountant in a multi-national company handling tax compliance for various regions in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Canada. She is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Batangas Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Atty. Moncupa was born in Dinalupihan, Bataan, Philippines on 14 January 1951. He completed his degree in AB Political Science from the University of Santo Tomas in 1971, earned his Law degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1975, and passed the Bar in 1976. Except for his stint in government as Undersecretary in the Department of Agrarian Reform, Chairman of the Board of Administrators of the Cooperative Development Authority, and Undersecretary in the Department of Transportation and Communications, he has been in active practice since then. His areas of specialization are: Criminal Law and Litigation, Corporate Law, Civil and Commercial Law, Election Law and, Human Rights and Civil Rights Law.
