Our esteemed team of lawyers at Palafox and Romero Law Firm is a diverse group of people.
Atty. Romero has more than 25 years of experience in the legal profession. He joined the Chato and Vinzons-Chato Law Offices in 1998 after earning his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines. He is a general litigation lawyer who has also handled special concerns in the areas of tax, environment, and elections. He served as legal counsel of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines and is currently Corporate Secretary of several corporations. Aside from his practice, Atty. Romero served as Chief Political Affairs Officer of a legislator in the House of Representatives and was a part-time instructor of academic subjects like the Philippine Constitution and Ethics in one educational institution. Although born in Quezon City in 1970, he traces his roots to the provinces of Pangasinan and Bulacan.

Atty. Palafox was born in Dagupan City, Pangasinan, Philippines on 29 November 1970. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of the Philippines in Baguio and earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines in Diliman in 1998 while working as a Congressional staff at the same time. He was admitted to the Bar in 1999. He was previously an Associate at the ACCRA Law Offices, a Supervising Legislative Officer II at the House of Representatives, and the Head Executive Assistant of the Department of Agrarian Reform. He is a consultant of various congressional representatives and is currently teaching law at the U.P. College of law. His practice areas are Litigation, Election Law, Real Estate and Land titling, Agrarian Law, and Labor Law.
Currently, Atty. Palafox is also a Senior Lecturer/Faculty member in the College of Law of the University of the Philippines.

Atty. Mendoza was born in Daet, Camarines Norte on 3 November 1977 and grew up in Marinduque. He completed his degree in Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering from the University of the Philippines in Diliman and is a licensed Geodetic Engineer. He earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from San Beda College Mendiola in 2004 and placed third in the bar examinations. Before joining Gregorio Araneta Group of Companies as its Senior Legal Counsel, Atty. Mendoza worked as an Associate at the Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz Law Offices (ACCRA Law) and Suarez and Narvasa Law Firm. He likewise served as the Acting District Collector of the Port of Cebu from 2019 until 2022. His areas of practice include Civil and Criminal Litigation, Family Law, Corporate Law, Labor Law, and Maritime Law. He was a Professor of Law at San Beda College of Law, San Sebastian Recoletos Institute of Law, and New Era University College of Law where he taught Persons and Family Relations, Property Law, Wills and Succession, Obligations and Contracts and Business Organizations.
Currently, Atty. Mendoza serves as the Undersecretary (Revenue Operations Group) of the Department of Finance, Philippines.

Atty. Patriarca was born in Rosario, Cavite, Philippines on 7 October 1974 and grew up in Pagsanjan, Laguna, Philippines. He completed his degree in Bachelor of Arts Major in Philosophy from the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 1997 and earned his Bachelor of Laws from the Arellano University School of Law in 2001, where he was ranked No. 3 (Honorable Mention) of his class. He passed the Bar Examinations in 2002. His areas of practice are Litigation and Corporate Law, Civil, Criminal, and Family Law, and Immigration and Labor Law. Atty. Patriarca joined the government service in 2019 as the Deputy Collector for Operations of the Port of Cebu and subsequently served as the Assistant Chief of the Liquidation and Audit Division, Collection Service under the Bureau of Customs.
